In order to help spark a bit of interest in fundamentals and/or inspiration for readers (I hope) I?ve put together a little multiple-choice quiz to help test your understanding of design. While I do provide the answers for checking your accuracy, there?s no tool here to grade you or present your score for others to see. This little exercise is just for you to see just how well you grasp some design fundamentals.

Some of the questions below deal with artistry, and that?s on purpose. Artistic fundamentals are where design gets its power, often by exploiting human psychology and typical perceptions. So for our purposes here, know that what?s important for art is important for Web design.
