Good Old Blog Posts

I have been really busy the last couple of days and haven’t made any posts to this blog. I usually store a couple of posts to pull up and post when things like this happen, but I didn’t have any of those that tickled my fancy.

Since I didn’t hit the Powerball jackpot last night I decided to get back to work.

When I started to think about writing this new post I decided to go back through my old posts to see if there was any inspiration there. What I discovered was that there is still quite a bit of good (still relevant) information there. Most of them still get some traffic, but many others just sit there. What I really need is a way to make these old posts more easy to find for my visitors.

A couple of weeks age I added the Tour My Blog links on the menu and that has proven to be very popular. Another good idea is to link back to old posts in my new ones. For example I have written before about how I like the way you can link to Word Press categories and searches to get a list of posts related to that.

I also found a post by by Andrey Milyan that gives even more good ideas that I’m going to try.
