More Great Text Effects To Try
I am always looking for ways to make cool text and other images for the sites that I design. Having great image effects can really make a site stand out from the rest.
I recently found a site called Design Vitality and they have a post called “51 Text Effect Tutorials Every Designer Should See”. It is a great collection of tutorials for Photoshop to make some of the best text effects that I have seen. Everything from fire to water. Even these tutorials are written for Photoshop I have had very few difficulties, so far, using them in GIMP
GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program that I like to use. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. There are very few things that Photoshop can do that GIMP cannot.
Try these tutorials out for yourself and see what having some great picture effects on your site can do for it.
