Help With E-mail Marketing

E-mail marketing is probably here to say. Although the spammers tried their best to kill it e-mail can still be a very effective marketing tool. I really thought that RSS would quickly replace e-mail as “The” marketing tool, but it seems people are slow warming up to it. Maybe now that it’s finally being incorporated into Microsoft’s products it will get a lift.

There are many new issues to be considered with e-mail. Things like images being turned off by default in more and more mail readers, also spam filters seem to be making deliverability more important than the actual content. Both of these issues are huge problems along with so many others that they are just to many to mention. I have been reading a blog by Bill McCloskey who is President and CEO of Email Data Source. His “blog” covers the issues of e-mail marketing that I spoke of as well as many more. It doesn’t seem to be a real blog as there is nowhere to comment and there doesn’t seem to be an RSS feed, but the information presented here is well worth taking the time to visit his site.
