I have written about why should a search engine trust your site, but there are also other kinds of trust on the Internet. For example why should a customer who just found your site and has never met you or seen your store trust you enough to make a purchase? Why should someone from another city who doesn’t know me at all trust me enough to let me design their website for them?
In these examples and many others we as website owners need to build enough trust in complete strangers to have them buy our products and services. I recently found a very good post by Yuri Filimonov, of Novosibirsk, Russia. His post is called “Build trust: the most important online value” and it covers many points to consider about how you can build more trust in you by your visitors.
