When designing a new site for a customer one of the first things that I ask them is if they have a logo and company colors. Because I’m dealing with mostly small and sometimes new businesses many times they say that they do not have them.<\/p>\n
I usually suggest that they visit my favorite new sites page<\/a> or to go to some of their favorite sites to get some ideas for color choices.<\/p>\n I recently found a site called COLOURlovers : Color Trends & Palettes. They offer design inspiration with thousands of palettes and color schemes. They offer color pallets of everything from websites to movie posters. It’s a wonderful place to find unique color combinations. They also allow you to rate color trends and comment on them<\/p>\n The page that caught my eye was “A Collection of 18 Beautiful Butterflies & Their Color Palettes”. What better way to find a pleasing color pallet than to let nature do it for you.
