How To Attract Readers For Your Blog

I have written many times before about why having a blog on your site can be very good for all kinds of promotional efforts.

I usually speak to all of my customers about whether or not to put a blog on their sites. How if they are willing to write posts that will benefit their visitors they should develop a following of not just readers, but fans. Readers will read your work at least some of the time, but fans will read all of your work and if you are lucky will comment and add relevant worthwhile content that can turn your site into a community meeting place.

A community of fans can help your business in ways that you probably haven’t even thought of. They help to promote you even if they don’t bring you any customers directly by simply shining a light on your work. They may help you solve a problem by showing you a path that you may not even have considered. The benefits go on and on.

I am passing on a good post today by Mack Collier called “How to Write Blog Posts That Will Grow Your Readership, and Your Business”. He writes “View your business blog as a tool to provide value DIRECTLY to your readers, and you will INDIRECTLY see your business grow as a result.”
