Some Random Thoughts on a Thursday

When sending email newsletters I believe it’s best to allow people to view the site with whatever font that their computer defaults to. When you don’t specify a font style it lets the readers program go to whatever it defaults to. I think that gives a person more of a feeling of familiarity when they see your information in a font that they are used to seeing on their machine.
Even though many users don’t know or care that they can set the default font on their reader they still probably see the most pages in whatever it defaults to. That’s their normal view.

Many of my customers ask me to fill in information on their pages. My answer is almost always that I don’t know their business as well as they do.
There’s nothing wrong with having your copy proofread for spelling or grammar, but don’t let someone put words in your mouth. Speak for yourself on your site!
