Getting Started With Google Adwords
I have had people ask me what’s the best way to buy keywords? This is especially true for new sites that are not ranked very well for any keywords.
Since I’ve never actually done it myself I usually go over the Google step-by-step instructions with them. I also tell them that believe that if you are going to spend money to attract visitors to your site you need to track the visitors and know how much that you are spending to get a sale and how much you are making from that sale (ROI). That can be a full time job in itself.
I just found a post by Frank Watson called “Google AdWords 101” on the Search Engine Watch to recommend. It’s a very good primer.
