Is Wix or WordPress better for SEO?
The real (not so) secret is to publish new content regularly, that’s easy for the visitor to find.
Write for your human visitors and search will follow.
WordPress categories, tags and search makes that a breeze.
I’ve been making websites for a long time and I use WP exclusively now because can do literally anything. Product and virtual sales, membership, ticketing, etc. Then, after it’s built, it’s by far the most end user friendly CMS.
I was told by an SEO expert that wordpress has many more capabilities when it comes to search results. Of course, that’s just one factor of many. My plumbing website is Weebly and we’re doing pretty well.

I don’t know WP but have learned thee are a number of SEO plugins that make it the best choice.

I like WordPress just because it has so many plugins available.
